(International Trade Practices) |
This course is a basic course in the field of international commerce, and aims to cultivate students’ theoretical knowledge of trade transaction procedures and, based on this, to improve their ability to use them. The main content of this course is to learn overseas market research, selection and credit investigation of counterparties as a basis for entering overseas markets. In addition, students learn conclusion of international contracts, international transportation, marine insurance, and international payment. To this end, it examines the process of trade transaction by dividing it into the pre-concluding trade contract phase, the trade contract concluding phase, and the implementation and termination phase of the trade contract, and consists of introducing relevant norms and cases for each process. |

This course explores the core legal principles and the most salient challenges facing the international trade legal regime, with a focus on the WTO. We will delineate the institutional structure of the WTO, appraise its evolution over time, and discuss the features and performance of its dispute settlement mechanism. We will then turn to the fundamental obligations set out in international trade agreements, including those concerning market access, quantitative restrictions, non-discrimination, technical regulations, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, subsidies, anti-dumping, safeguards. |

This course aims to learn the basic economic analysis tools for understanding and analyzing the international economy. Students will learn the economic logics to describe market structures and choice theory of economic actors, such as consumers, producers, and the government. For effective learning, the lectures are structured so that students can strengthen their theoretical basic capabilities through lecture-centered theoretical learning and problem solving. |

This course aims to enhance their daily language and professional language skills related to international trade in order to enhance their ability to respond to international trade, such as international trade with major overseas markets such as China, Japan, South America, and Europe, and Korean companies’ investment in the region. |

(Customs Law and Policies) |
This course is designed to study the customs system under the customs law and regulations of Korea. This course examines the legal regimes related to state/conventional tariffs, customs evaluation, tariff reduction/exemption, customs duty payer and payment. This course also deals with the import and export customs clearance system including the bonded system. |

To this end, this course consists of learning related laws, usages and practices related to international business contracts. |

(International Commercial Negotiation) |
This course teaches international business students a broadly applicable framework for negotiating and resolving conflicts effectively. Negotiations are discussions aimed at securing agreements—formal or informal—between two or more interdependent parties. Because business leaders depend on others to accomplish goals, they are interdependent. Thus, leaders need to be skilled negotiators to generate solutions that are acceptable, valuable, and able to be implemented. Furthermore, this course teaches when and how cultural differences can influence negotiations we face. |

| 거시경제이론
(Macroeconomics) |
In this course, the functioning of the aggregate economy is analyzed starting from the macroeconomic equilibrium. This first part introduces the building blocks of the macroeconomy, focusing on the determination of the aggregate supply, aggregate demand, long run equilibrium, short run fluctuations, and effectiveness of policy interventions. Next, the course moves to the theory of economic growth, first introducing the neoclassical growth model and then reviewing endogenous growth model that studies the roles of the human capital, learning-by-doing, R&D, and government expenditures on economic growth. This course takes both a short and a long-term view of the economy, and aims to help students understand how modern macroeconomics can shed light on facts such as business cycles, economic growth, unemployment and money. |

(International Logistics and Trade) |
The objectives of this course are to familiarize students with the logistics processes required in moving goods and people across international boundaries, the transportation modes used in such movement, and contemporary issues of international logistics in the global environment. As the main content, students will learn topics such as overall supply chain management of trading companies, procurement, supplier selection, IT, distribution, transportation, inventory management, and storage in the international supply chain. To this end, this course consists of the introduction of cases and related regulations along with theories related to international logistics. |

This course aims to cultivate students’ theoretical knowledge in the field of trade exhibition industry and to develop their practical ability based on this. The main content is to learn the theories and practical processes necessary to attract and operate exhibitions, while overviewing the trade exhibition industry and introducing domestic and international trends in the industry. To this end, this course consists of the overview and history of trade exhibitions as one of marketing tools and various case studies. |
