The course is mainly concerned to the Foreign Trade Act which governs Korean foreign trade under the regulatory environments of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The course then turns to focus on selected examples of international uniform and harmonized law and treaties in detail and current issues on such laws. |

This is an introductory course in international economics. It studies the basic concepts to understand the economic variables and mechanisms that determine the system of an open economy. Basic theories on international trade and international financial economics will be dealt with. |

(Regional Languages for International Trade)

This course intends students to acquire knowledge about the cultures and the trade practices in major regional markets such as China, Europe, Japan, and South America, through the lens of the corresponding local languages. Also, students learn how to link this cultural knowledge and communicative abilities to international transactions. |
관세론
(Customs Levy Policy)

This course studies the Customs Act of South Korea. It covers various issues on carrying out export and import clearance formalities required by the law. In particular it also covers specific issues on import duties including customs valuation and commodity classification. |

Regional trade agreements are central to modern international trade law. This class aims to acquaint students with the theory and practice of regional trade agreements, starting with examining the history and theory of regional trade agreements in the GATT/WTO system and ending with an overview of their current practices and status, plus a critical view of RTAs in the WTO system. |

The course provides students with an understanding of the process of concluding various kinds of international contracts and introduce basic terms and conditions incorporated in international contracts. Following a brief general introduction, the course focuses on a number of specific legal and practical issues such as the formation of contracts, the obligations and remedies of each party, and the passing of risk under the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods(1980). |

This course covers topics concerned with doing business with China as the biggest trading partner of Korea. These include the attributes of commercial contract deals in Chinese business and an overview of Chinese culture, economy, and law. |

(Introduction to macroeconomics)

Two main topics are to be discussed in this course. First, students will discuss how to determine aggregate variables such as GDP, inflation, and employment and what the relations among these variables are. Second, students will discuss the stabilization policy and its impact on the national economy. In addition, current economic news will be discussed in line with macroeconomic theories in order to reduce the gap between theory and issues. |

The objectives of this course are to familiarize students with the logistics processes required in moving goods and people across international boundaries, the transportation modes used in such movement, and current logistics issues in the global environment. The objective will be accomplished through systematic study of components of international logistics systems, including: the ocean shipping industry, international air transportation, seaports and airports, other participants in international logistics, laws and regulations, situational factors, and policy issues. |
